Candles, wine, full moon

Wash out all of the dark blues

That have lit the stage for so long.

On the speaker plays a song

From chapters very much long gone

And the old projector in my head

Sputters on

Painting memories onto the red

Inner walls of my skull

Me before

I don’t know who she is anymore

But time is strange

We are everywhere and everyday 

All at once

And I must love her if I am to love

This picture perfect moment of us.
