In this washing machine of a world

We are two cashmere sweaters

We find one another

Arms tangling together

Holding tight to each other

As our soft skins get wetter

And warmer

We hope that the water

Is not hot enough 

To shrink us

 

But if it does

I will still love you as much 

As I did
